Project Architect/Project Manager

Onyx Design Collective is a young architecture firm that is devoted to smart, innovative, and one of a kind architectural projects. At this time we are looking for a Project Architect/Project Manager to join our team. We desire a detail oriented, passionate, and motivated individual who is able to assist in the design, detailing, and oversight of multiple residential and commercial projects. You will work directly with the Design Principal and will play a lead role in design and development of all projects. You will also assist in all aspects of the production of construction drawings and details. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire construction project life cycle. You will manage personnel involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and technical abilities.

Compensation will depend on experience.

Responsibilities:

Lead team and conduct client meetings
Design construction documents and project management
Act as point of contact for all technical issues
Managing complex projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience 2 - 4 years related experience
Excellent problem solving skills
Architecture license preferred
4-5 years of experience in the field
Ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Have working knowledge of IRC/IBC
Have experience with custom home design, small commercial, medical, office, tenant improvements, and/or multifamily projects.
Possess a good balance of design creativity and technical proficiency.
The candidate must have a strong skill set in Revit.
Additional software knowledge in SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop and Lumion is a plus.
